Tempus (Trans European Mobility Programme for University Studies)is a European Union's Programme which supports the reformation andmodernisation of higher education in partner countries in EasternEurope, Central Asia, the Western Balkans and the Mediterraneanregion. This process is mainly implemented through universitycooperation.Within this Programme the Tempus project "Postgraduate Study inPublic Health Sciences" was initiated in 2005 at the Belgrade UniversitySchool of Medicine Centre-School of Public Health, Serbia.The authors of this publication clearly describe the way how theprogramme has been developed, implemented and how it shall becontinued.
